Local law enforcement agencies are on the hunt for an unidentified individual who utilized a stolen truck in a sequence of destructive events early Wednesday morning in South Los Angeles. Allegedly, the driver used the stolen truck to forcefully push a womans car into multiple stationary vehicles. This incident was reported around 4:45 a.m. in the vicinity of East 92nd Street and Bandera Street in the Florence-Firestone neighborhood. Surveillance footage documented the vehicles briefly stationary before the collision.

The pickup notably displaced the womans sedan to the side of the street, causing it to collide with several parked cars in the area. Following the incident, the suspects pickup truck was spotted in a road rage crash in Watts on December 4, 2024. Several damaged vehicles were also identified at the same location on the same date.

The woman driver of the sedan suffered physical harm from the impact; she sustained multiple injuries, including a fractured leg, as reported by the police. At this time, available information is limited; however, police conjecture that a domestic dispute may have set off the destructive actions. Nearby residents relayed to KTLA that loud arguments could be heard just prior to the collision. Furthermore, a neighbor reported a possible gunshot, but the police are yet to confirm a correlation with the incident.

Authorities are seeking the pickup driver, only described as a Hispanic male, who was seen fleeing the location on foot with a canine. A spokesperson from the Los Angeles Police Department revealed no immediate information regarding a motive behind the incident.
