In the early hours of November 7, 2024, a severe two-vehicle collision occurred on Sherman Way, just east of Corbin Avenue in Reseda, as confirmed by the Los Angeles Fire Department. This incident resulted in substantial casualties, with one fatality and two critically injured individuals requiring hospital treatment.

Emergency responders were immediately dispatched to the scene, where they found the victims trapped within the wrecked vehicles. The first casualty, a 25-year-old male, was unfortunately found to be beyond medical help and was declared deceased on site.

The second victim, a 40-year-old male, was in a critical condition and was consequently transported to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention. As for the details on the extent of his injuries and current status, that still remains undisclosed.

Interestingly, a third patient was also taken to the hospital. This individual was an unidentified person who had arrived on the scene before the emergency responders and was trying to assist in the extrication of the victims. While the injuries of this Good Samaritan were not reported as life-threatening, further information regarding their exact condition is not available.
