On Wednesday afternoon, a man and two minors were apprehended upon their failed attempt to escape after conducting a burglary. The adults identity has been withheld and the minors involved were noticed by local residents while they were donned in all black clothing, hopping over a fence into a residence located in Via Providencias 500 block just shy of 1 p.m., as reported by the Burbank Police Department.

The trios black BMW automobile was still within the vicinity when the police arrived at the scene. The police tried to stop the vehicle, however, the driver chose to flee and subsequently crashed the vehicle at the intersection of Via Providencia and Kenneth Road, as stated by the law enforcement.

In a desperate and futile attempt to escape, the alleged burglars took off on foot making use of nearby alleyways as well as an apartment. Despite their efforts, they were all apprehended within a span of twenty minutes. The police successfully recovered all the stolen pieces of property which included a handgun, a suitcase filled with various items and a selection of jewelry items. The property was uninhabited during the burglary incident and resulted in no physical injuries.
