Biography
Urik is one of the founders of Pinnacle LLP, where he has developed a focused practice in personal injury and lemon law. His journey in the legal field, which began as a transactional associate at an AMLAW 200 firm, has evolved to concentrate on advocating for individuals who have suffered injuries or been wronged by defective vehicles.
Urik’s strength lies in his versatility and ability to analyze issues from his clients’ perspectives. He applies his creative problem-solving skills and strategic thinking to effectively and efficiently resolve complex personal injury cases and intricate lemon law disputes. His background in sophisticated transactions has honed his ability to navigate challenging and nuanced legal situations, skills that prove invaluable in negotiating favorable settlements and litigating cases when necessary.
Prior to earning his law degree, Urik obtained a Master of Science degree in Finance. This unique combination of legal expertise and financial acumen allows him to better understand the full impact of injuries on his clients’ lives and to accurately assess the true value of lemon law claims. It also enhances his ability to provide comprehensive counsel to clients across various personal injury scenarios and automotive defect cases.
Urik employs a team approach to every case he handles, whether it’s spearheading the resolution of a complex personal injury claim or structuring a strategic approach to a lemon law case. He works expeditiously to meet important deadlines while ensuring that the solutions best meet his clients’ needs and maximize their recoveries.
During law school, Urik gained valuable experience serving as an extern to United States Bankruptcy Judge Robert N. Kwan of the Western District of California. This experience sharpened his legal research and writing skills, which he now applies to craft compelling arguments for his personal injury and lemon law clients. Urik also participated in the USC Gould School of Law COVID-19 Business Research Task Force, where he helped small businesses manage pandemic-related challenges, an experience that enhanced his ability to assist clients facing life-altering situations.
In addition to his master’s degree in finance and Juris Doctor, Urik has earned a Business Law certificate with a focus on capital markets and financial law.
