A police pursuit of a suspected stolen vehicle in San Fernando Valley resulted in the vehicle crashing into a residential property early Tuesday morning. According to preliminary reports from the San Fernando Police Department, the vehicle, a white Kia Forte, was believed to be stolen, thus initiating the police chase. The vehicle was reported to be carrying four occupants and hit speeds up to 100 miles per hour during the pursuit, as per the information obtained from RMGNews, a news stringer service.
The violent crash was captured on a home surveillance camera, clearly showing severe damages being inflicted on the boundary wall and perimeter fence of the house, along with significant damage to the vehicle. Despite the abrupt and violent impact of the crash, no injuries were reported from within the house.
Further reports reveal that two out of the four occupants of the vehicle were seriously injured as a result of the crash. Interestingly, a secondary footage from the same surveillance camera captured the remaining two occupants fleeing from the crash location. Details regarding the inception point and timing of the chase have not been confirmed. Similarly, the status of the stolen vehicle, the condition of the injured suspects, and the whereabouts of the two suspects who fled the scene remains uncertain.
For additional information, KTLA has reached out to the San Fernando Police Department. As the investigation unfolds, more details are expected to emerge regarding the specifics of the incident and the suspects involved.
