On Sunday, a small aircraft crash landed on a golf course in Carson, California. The incident is reported to have occurred at the Victoria Golf Course, which is located at 340 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The time of the incident was around 3:45 p.m. The specifics of how the crash occurred have not been clearly detailed.

The Los Angeles County Fire Departments crews responded to the reports of the downed plane. Footage of the crash, which was posted on the Citizen App, showed that the aircraft was underneath a low-lying limb of a nearby tree just off a practice putting green. The aircraft appeared to be upside down.

The area where the plane crashed was cordoned off by yellow caution tape. Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department were present at the crash site. It isnt clear just how many passengers were on the plane when it crashed.

Debris from the crash, likely a component of the aircraft itself, was visible on the ground not far from the crash site. Despite the ongoing investigation, the golf course did not close and players continued their games.

It was reported that two people were taken to the hospital as a result of the crash but later on, fire officials refuted this report. Instead, they stated that both passengers were evaluated by medical personnel, but did not present any serious injuries that required transportation to the hospital. Fire officials also reported that a HAZMAT team was sent to the golf course to conduct a study on possible leaks that the crash could have triggered.
