A San Bernardino County Sheriffs Deputy lost his life in a vehicular accident that occurred in Victorville, on the day of March 17, 2025. According to the information provided by Gloria Orejel, a spokesperson for the department, the crash took place at El Evado and Seneca roads slightly before noon.

In the initial aftermath of the reported incident, it was unclear what extent of injuries resulted from the crash. Compounding the chaotic scene were live wires down in the area. Southern California Edison, the electric service utility, was quickly directed to the site to tackle the issue.

It is interesting to note that a pursuit was reported in the area mere minutes before the crash occurred. It remains unverified by the Sherrifs Department whether theres a correlation between this pursuit and the crash.

Aerial visual data captured from Sky5 depicted a seemingly deceased individual close to a vehicle that was split in two, the separation occurring near the dashboard. This unfortunate loss was confirmed by KTLAs Shelby Nelson, who intimated that a San Bernardino County Sheriffs Deputy was indeed the victim. The identity of the deputy remains withheld, pending an official confirmation from the department.
