A tragic motorcycle collision that took place in Long Beach Boulevard and 51st Street around 5:10 p.m. on a recent Saturday resulted in the death of a 55-year-old male rider. Long Beach Police Department officers were in the area when they noticed the motorcyclist on the road after a possible crash. Immediate aid was rendered by the officers until paramedics from the Long Beach Fire Department arrived. The injured rider was then transported to a hospital, where unfortunately, he was unable to survive his injuries.

According to the preliminary investigations conducted by the LBPD, the rider was speeding northbound on a Honda CBR 900 motorcycle along Long Beach Boulevard. He lost control of the bike at 51st Street and fell onto the asphalt, subsequently colliding with a parked vehicle. The LBPD shared these details in a media release following the incident.

The identity of the motorcyclist has not been officially released, and he is currently only identified as a 55-year-old man from Long Beach.
