A man has been found dead with multiple gunshot wounds at the scene of a major automobile collision in Moreno Valley, California. The incident occurred on Sunday evening around 7:20pm local time, according to the Riverside County Sheriffs Office.

Deputies from the Moreno Valley Station were the first responders at the scene, following reports of a significant traffic incident on the 13000 block of Leota Court. Upon arrival, they discovered a man who had sustained multiple gunshot injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene.

The immediate area was quickly cordoned off with crime tape, with the surrounding area closed to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic. This measure was taken to secure the crime scene and allow authorities to conduct a thorough investigation.
