Late evening Monday witnessed a shooting death investigation initiated by the deputies of Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department. The conducted investigation, initially reported as a double shooting incident, took place around 11:05 PM in a strip mall located on South Central Avenue, Compton. It has now been clarified that the episode unraveled from an intentional car crash and concluded with a murder-suicide.

Based on information from the sheriffs department, the sequence of events started with a male suspect intentionally ramming his car into another vehicle. The victims – an adult male and female – were inside the vehicle at the time of this occurrence. The situation then escalated into an unfortunate murder-suicide.

Following the incident, the male victim evaded the subsequent gunfire, while the female victim, unfortunately, could not escape the disaster. Reports say she got shot within a local business establishment where the suspect followed and fatally wounded her. Authorities later found the suspect inside the same location with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Medical responses from Compton City Fire Department transported him to a local hospital where he was declared deceased.

The male victim, who evaded the gunfire, was hospitalized with injuries presumably sustained during the crash. Updates on his medical condition remain undisclosed. Authorities have not determined any association between the suspect and the victims. However, they believe that this wasnt a random incident.
