A fatal collision, involving two vehicles, occurred in Diamond Bar, California, early Tuesday. As reported by local law enforcement, the accident left one of the cars bifurcated and resulted in the death of one individual and the hospitalization of another.
The accident was reported around 12:15 a.m. near the intersection of North Diamond Bar Boulevard and Temple Avenue, confirmed by Lieutenant Wong of the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department. Officers from local law enforcement, including deputies from LA County Sheriffs Department and personnel from the Pomona Police Department, were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, they found one person had unfortunately lost their life at the collision site.
Furthermore, Lieutenant Wong confirmed that a second individual was transported to a local hospital by Los Angeles County fire personnel. The current condition of this victim remains undisclosed.
The law enforcement officers at the scene have not yet determined which vehicle each of the victims was in at the time of the collision. The cause of the crash is also still unclear; thus, it is not determined whether factors such as speed or alcohol played a role in this tragic event.
