A traffic incident occurred early Monday morning on the westbound 10 Freeway in Pomona. The event involved a FedEx truck and another vehicle. According to data from the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the crash was reported around 4:15 a.m., near the eastern side of the junction with the 57 Freeway. Information regarding potential injuries arising from the accident wasnt immediately available.
Following the incident, an official SigAlert was registered, announcing the closure of all lanes on the westbound 10 Freeway. It is not yet determined how long the SigAlert will remain active.
Traffic data indicates significant congestion resulting from the crash. Around the time of 5:30 a.m., Sky5 reported that traffic had backed up for an approximate distance of 2 to 3 miles on the impacted side of the freeway. As a result of the accident, traffic was being diverted via the 57 Freeway as clean up crews worked tirelessly to manage oil spillage from the crash onto the roadway.
