According to California Highway Patrol (CHP) sources, authorities in Los Angeles County are currently engaged in the pursuit of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle in question is a silver Toyota, which was reportedly stolen from Ventura, California.

Due to the ongoing nature of the incident, there is presently no information as to whether any other individuals are in the vehicle, aside from the driver.

Initial reports indicate that the chase began along the 405 Freeway, in the vicinity of Mulholland Drive, located in the Sepulveda Pass. By 11:45 a.m., the pursuit had advanced to the 405 and 710 Freeway interchange, in proximity to the Long Beach Airport.

As per the latest updates approaching noon, the vehicle was seen driving southward towards Orange County along the 405 Freeway. The driver in question was not observed to be driving at a high speed. On the contrary, the driver seemed to maintain regular highway speeds in the fast lane. Despite this, the driver has consistently refused to pull over, even though their driving behaviour has not been categorically aggressive.

Media reports confirm that Sky5 news helicopter is monitoring the situation from above. Given that this is an ongoing situation, more details will follow as the story develops, and additional information becomes available.
