San Bernardino Teen’s Car Totaled In Hit-and-Run Incident; Suspected Driver At Large

A 19-year-old resident of San Bernardino experienced a substantial loss on Saturday, when an RV veered out of control and collided with multiple parked vehicles, including his own. The incident reportedly took place on Del Rosa Avenue.

The surveillance footage of the incident indicates the RV impacting Daniel Gallardos car head-on and damaging two more vehicles in the process. Following the initial collision, the RVs driver proceeded to reverse and caused further damage to three additional vehicles.

Local law enforcement, thanks to corroborated eyewitness accounts, have a potential suspect – a neighbor of Gallardos. Although the suspect has not yet been apprehended, witnesses – including Gallardo – believe the individual was driving under influence. Gallardo reported to KTLAs Shelby Nelson that he observed the driver appeared drowsy, with highly noticeable redness in the eyes, and was allegedly slurring words during their brief confrontation post-incident.

The San Bernardino County Sheriffs Department reported their multiple attempts contacting the suspect, but with no clear results. Furthermore, Gallardo reported that his attempts at claiming insurance were unfruitful— the suspect supposedly holds an expired insurance policy. As such, Gallardo is likely to shoulder the cost of a replacement vehicle, given the extent of the damage to his current vehicle. It is reported that the current status of his vehicle is a total loss according to Gallardo, and beyond possible repair.

Gallardos predicament has led to efforts being made to help him manage these unexpected expenses.

Uninsured Driver Crashes Out-of-Control RV into Parked Cars in San Bernardino

A 19-year-old man from San Bernardino, California experienced a significant loss on Saturday as an out-of-control recreational vehicle (RV) crashed into his and his familys parked cars. The event took place on Del Rosa Avenue, with the surveillance footage providing essential insights into the incident. The SUV, after hitting the car owned by Daniel Gallardo, also collided with a minimum of two more vehicles parked behind his.

Immediately following the accident, the RV driver was seen backing up and proceeding to hit three more vehicles – a fact confirmed by the local sheriffs department. The driver, who is thought to live in the same neighborhood as Gallardos family, has not been arrested. Witness accounts suggest that the man might have been driving under the influence due to his observed behavior and appearance at the time of the incident.

The San Bernardino County Sheriffs Department informed that they had made several attempts to establish contact with the driver, although no additional details are available so far. Gallardo, after attempting to reach out to the drivers insurance company, learned that the man does not hold a valid policy, as it has expired. Consequently, no assistance will be provided by the insurance company towards the losses incurred due to the crash.

Gallardo needs to purchase a new car as his damaged car is beyond repair and poses a total loss. To assist Gallardo financially in this unexpected circumstance, efforts are being made to gather resources and help him mitigate the losses.

San Bernardino Teenager’s Car Damaged in Hit-and-Run Incident

A 19-year-old San Bernardino resident, identified as Daniel Gallardo, experienced a substantial setback this weekend due to an out-of-control recreational vehicle (RV). The RV reportedly collided with several parked vehicles, including Gallardos, resulting in significant damage.

The incident was captured on surveillance footage, revealing the RV crashed directly into Gallardos car before colliding with two additional vehicles parked behind. When the driver of the RV reversed, they hit and damaged three more parked vehicles on Del Rosa Avenue, according to police.

The driver, who is suspected to be a resident from the same street, fled the scene without facing any immediate repercussions. Gallardo stated that he, along with several neighbors, followed and confronted the man they believe to have been under the influence of an intoxicating substance based on his unusual behavior and physical condition.

Despite multiple attempts, the San Bernardino police have been unable to make contact with the suspect. Further complicating matters, Gallardo mentioned that the suspects insurance policy, which he reached out to for coverage, has expired. As a result, Gallardo will likely have to shoulder the expenses of a new vehicle.

The total loss of his car has left Gallardo to face a considerable unexpected financial burden, given that repair work is deemed untenable. This incident brings to light the serious after-effects of hit-and-run accidents and the necessity for comprehensive vehicle insurance.

This incident involved a big rig and another vehicle, which flipped over the center divider and landed on the northbound side.

Glendale Man Charged With Attempted Murder Following September Shooting Incident

A shooting incident that occurred on September 10, 2021, led to the arrest and charging of a 30-year-old Glendale man. The man, identified as Ramon Alberto Carrillo, has been charged with attempted murder.

The incident began when the Burbank Police Department responded to reports of a male gunshot victim being admitted to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center a few minutes before 5 p.m. Medical staff at the hospital could confirm the man had sustained a single gunshot wound, hence requiring transfer to a trauma center for further treatment.

According to information provided by the victim who was later discharged from the hospital, the shooting took place near Victory Boulevard and Allen Avenue in Glendale. Detectives investigations revealed that Carrillo was on the said location, driving. He spotted another car occupied by three individuals who he suspected were members of a rival gang. It was then that Carrillo reportedly asked his girlfriend and their 7-year-old child to exit their vehicle, before he began firing multiple rounds at the other car. The shooting resulted in one of the occupants of the other car getting struck, before Carrillo left the scene.

On October 30, Carrillo, already out on bail linked to an unrelated felony firearm drug possession case from Los Angeles, was found in a Chatsworth community and peacefully arrested. Following the filing of the case with the L.A. County District Attorneys office, Carrillo was charged with one count of shooting at an occupied vehicle and three counts of attempted murder. He has since remained in custody with no bail, as stated by officials.

Felony hit-and-run Suspect Arrested for Anaheim Street Incident

Anaheim police announced on Monday that they have arrested a suspect involved in a hit-and-run accident. The man, identified as Hassan Hamid Ali, was taken into custody on felony charges stemming from an incident that occurred on November 1, 2024.

Ali is believed to have been the driver of a black Dodge Charger caught on video during an illegal street demonstration where vehicles were performing high-speed maneuvers, including burnouts and donuts. The incident took place at the intersection of Orangewood Avenue and State College Boulevard.

The video footage showed the Charger navigating dangerously close to a crowd of spectators, before eventually striking several people and trapping two 19-year-old males underneath the vehicle. Both were transported to the hospital with significant injuries but were reported to be in stable condition later that day.

After the car struck the crowd, Ali allegedly fled the scene on foot, evading immediate capture. He was, however, identified and apprehended within three days of the incident. Along with the felony hit-and-run charge, Ali has also been booked for an exhibition of speed.

The investigation into the incident is still ongoing. Authorities are requesting anyone with pertinent information to contact the department either directly or through the Orange County Crime Stoppers.
