In South Los Angeles last month, a serious hit-and-run incident resulted in the death of an individual named Ernest Delce. Reportedly, the collision took place around 3 a.m. on October 12 near the intersection of 92nd Street and South Broadway. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) confirmed that they received reports of a fallen motorcyclist at the location, and upon arrival, the rider was found deceased.

The LAPD has acknowledged a hit-and-run call relating to the same date and location have been recorded in their system. However, there has been no release of further information, namely, regarding the suspect vehicle involved in the event. Any additional details, as stated by the department, will be disclosed at a later time.

Coverage by KTLA has shown images of the crash site, clearly depicting a closed intersection due to police tape, and a significantly battered motorbike present at the site. The gathered crowd comprised of law enforcement, bystanders, and grieving loved ones. This victims family was visibly emotional, seen embracing each other.Initially, a car club event was happening near the crash location, though unfolding events caused it to halt.

The family has started an official appeal to aid in covering the inevitable expenses such as funeral costs, legal fees, and other sudden financial requirements in light of this tragic event. The LAPDs Southeast Division is imploring anyone with information about the hit-and-run to come forward.
