A deadly collision occurred on the 10 Freeway in Rialto, California, which claimed the lives of two individuals on Friday. The incident transpired when a white Ford F-150 that was heading west crossed the center divider into the eastbound lanes. This resulted in a head-on collision with several vehicles.
Among the deceased was a 46-year-old Redlands woman who was driving a Scion XD, and a 54-year-old Grand Terrace man who was piloting a Tesla Model 3. The fatalities were confirmed by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) in an official news release.
The CHP additionally reported that a total of five vehicles were involved in this multi-vehicle crash. These included a silver Toyota Echo and a white Ford Explorer. The identity of the Ford F-150 driver, who was the one to cross the divider leading to the fateful event, has not been revealed or charged with any offence until Tuesday morning following the accident.
