A vehicle collision involving a Metrolink train resulted in the loss of two lives on Thursday morning in the City of Industry. The deadly incident occurred around 8 a.m. at the juncture of Rose Hills Road and Capitol Avenue, according to information provided by both the Los Angeles County Sheriffs and Fire departments.
An oncoming southbound Metrolink train hit the vehicle, leading to the immediate deaths of both the driver and one passenger on the scene. Furthermore, two other individuals from the incident were transported to a local hospital due to moderate injuries, as reported by the Fire Department.
In addition to the vehicle occupants, three passengers aboard the train reported pain, although no visible injuries were detected, stated by the Sheriffs Department.
