A small plane crashed into the backyard of a residential home in Temple City, Southern California on Monday morning. The incident occurred just before 8 a.m. in the 4900 block of Arden Drive, located approximately one mile west of El Monte Airport, as reported by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Aerial footage taken by Sky5 showed that the single-engine aircraft had clipped trees and shrubs before crashing on top of a brick wall. It appears the plane may have also made contact with a house in the densely populated neighborhood. Despite the accident, the damage to the residential property did not seem to be significant.

Sky5 reporter Rich Prickett provided on-the-scene coverage and confirmed that both individuals from the plane had survived the crash. They walked away from the scene and were subsequently assessed by paramedics. At this time, the cause of the crash is still being investigated. Further information will be reported as the case proceeds.
