A small aircraft crashed into a residential backyard in the region of Southern Californias San Gabriel Valley, specifically on Arden Drive in Temple City, California, on the morning of January 6, 2024. The incident transpired just before 8 a.m. as per the report by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Sky5 aerial coverage depicted a single-engine aircraft skimming over trees and bushes before devastatingly crashing on top of a wall. There are reports that the plane may have also made contact with a residential house. The overall extent of the actual damage caused by this event, to both the house and the aircraft, did not seem to be severe. Importantly, it was relayed by Sky5 reporter, Rich Prickett, that both occupants of the aircraft were able to walk away from the crash incident.
