An accident involving a Los Angeles Metro bus and two other vehicles resulted in injuries for four people in Van Nuys. The incident happened around 6 a.m. on Friday morning in the 7900 block of North Sepulveda Boulevard, according to information from the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

The Los Angeles Fire Department reported that two of the injured individuals, inclusive of one in a serious condition, were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The other two victims received on-the-spot treatment and chose not to be transported to the hospital by the Fire Department.

The incident occurred when a Los Angeles Metro Line 234 bus, halted at a bus stop, was hit by the two aforementioned vehicles involved in an accident. Whilst the bus was carrying an operator and 50 passengers, only two people required hospitalization. Its discernible that one of them is the operator since Metros statement confirmed their presence on board and subsequent hospitalization.

In a statement, Metro expressed concern over the incident, extending sympathies to those injured. The reason behind the initial collision involving the two vehicles that later hit the stationary bus is yet to be established and remains under ongoing investigation.
