On Thursday afternoon, a plane crashed into the roof of a Fullerton warehouse leading to one reported fatality and at least 15 injuries. The incident occurred around 2:10 p.m. on West Raymer Avenue, in proximity to the Fullerton Municipal Airport.

The event was initially reported as a structure fire, which suggests the plane crashed into a building, with a furniture warehouse being a possible location. A video from Sky5 later substantiated that a commercial building had been struck, evident by a substantial hole in the buildings roof and an absence of visible plane wreckage.

Firefighters were on the scene combating the blaze from within the warehouse while there was an evacuation from surrounding buildings. Smoke was seen emanating from the top of the warehouse following the crash.

First responders were observed treating an unspecified number of injured individuals on the ground. There were several ambulances present, prepared to transport the injured to area hospitals as required. The Fullerton Police Department reported an indeterminate number of casualties at 2:40 p.m. One hour later, it was confirmed that nine people were transported to local hospitals, and six people were treated on site and subsequently released. One person, likely the pilot, was reported deceased.

Following the crash, video footage from the Citizen App showed black smoke billowing from the crash site, and fire trucks rushing towards the scene. Firefighters were also seen assessing the situation from a nearby roof. To ensure public safety, police advised drivers to avoid the area due to surrounding road closures. The story continues to develop.
