Late Thursday night, a collision resulted in two fatalities in Los Angeles, as reported by local authorities. The incident involved a vehicle crashing into construction equipment, and the Los Angeles Police Department has officially confirmed the death of both individuals involved.
The Los Angeles Police Department stated the crash happened approximately at 10:30 PM, in the area of 1202 West Anaheim Street, located in the Harbor City neighborhood of Los Angeles. Upon receipt of the collision reports, local fire department units responded and discovered a vehicle, which had violently collided with an excavator.
The two individuals inside the vehicle, both males in their 30s, did not survive the incident, police remarked. Official identification of both deceased parties has yet to be released to the public as of Friday morning. The preliminary investigation into the incident revealed that the driver of the vehicle was possibly traveling at a high speed and may have lost control of the vehicle prior to crashing into the heavy-duty construction equipment.
