A serious accident involving six vehicles has occurred in Ontario, leading to one fatality and two others being hospitalized, according to information from the Ontario Police Department and KTLA.
The incident occurred around 9:31 a.m. at the intersection of Holt Boulevard and Mountain Avenue, although specific details about how the accident occurred remain unclear. Surveillance footage from a local business provided partial insight into the crash, indicating that two vehicles collided, one of which had two wheels airborne.
Emergency medical personnel transported one of the victims to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, the victim was unable to overcome the injuries sustained in the crash and was declared deceased at the hospital. Part of the surveillance footage shows the violent six-car crash that led to one casualty and injured two others on December 19, 2024.
Two additional victims were also taken to the hospital suffering from non-life-threatening injuries, but further details regarding their ages, genders, or the vehicle they were in at the time of the accident were not provided. The police have obtained a video of the crash for investigation purposes but have not disclosed it publicly yet.
The said intersection was temporarily closed for several hours as authorities conducted an on-site investigation of the crash and work crews cleared the scene. The road has since been reopened for regular traffic. Preliminary police reports suggest that neither alcohol nor drugs appear to play a role in the collision, and no arrests have been made in relation to the accident.
