A tragic incident unfolded in the early hours of November 30, 2024, in downtown Los Angeles when an 18-year-old, identified as Isaac Arellanes Jr., was killed in a high-speed hit-and-run accident. The crash, which occurred at the intersection of Broadway and Cesar Chavez Avenue near the Chinatown area, also injured six others.

The vehicular impact was of a significant magnitude, causing one vehicle to overturn and end up on its roof while the other sustained severe damage.
