According to data from the California Highway Patrol and other news sources, Bell Gardens Police recently embarked on a pursuit of a vehicular theft suspect in Los Angeles County. The suspected vehicle was identified as a gray 2015 Hyundai Sonata, reportedly stolen from the jurisdiction of the Los Angeles Police Departments Pacific division.

Aerial footage captured by Sky5 reveals the haphazard driving of the suspected vehicle through Inglewoods residential areas. Notably, the vehicle was seen with serious damage, with its front bumper hanging precariously as it moved.

The pursuit reportedly came to an end at approximately 4:40 p.m. when the car halted and both the driver and a passenger disembarked. Both individuals allegedly attempted to flee on foot toward a nearby property. However, the passenger, changing their course of action, returned shortly before getting to the property and was swiftly detained by responding officers.

The driver continued into the property situated at the corner, but was tracked down swiftly by police officers, leading to their detention. In this initial phase, authorities did not confirm the detentions or comment on the original crimes nature, whether it pertained to the alleged vehicle theft.
